Quick Start Guide

Using WebTrak you can track the flight activity in and out of Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. The system also provides information on each aircraft's Flight Id, Airports, Aircraft Type and Altitude.

Control Panel

To begin viewing past flights select a date and time from the control panel below. To accelerate replay choose from the "speed" drop-down menu.

Click the "Start Replay" button to begin.

To view "live" flights, click the "Live" tab in the control panel below, then click "Start Live Flights".

Access to optional features of WebTrak are available from the "Options" tab.

Map Controls

Change your view in WebTrak by using the map controls.

Move north, east, west and south, and click the plus and minus buttons to show more or less map detail and zoom in and out.


Aircraft

Aircraft are color-coded to show whether they are arrivals or departures.

The line trailing behind each aircraft shows where it flew in the last 30 seconds.


Noise

The small gray circles on WebTrak are noise-monitoring locations.

The recorded noise levels are displayed in the circle. The color and shape of the circle will change as the noise level and type of noise changes.


Information Tags

Hold your mouse over an aircraft to display information about it.

The information shown is Flight Id, Airports, Aircraft Type and Altitude.

Click on the aircraft to display an information panel. This will show additional information about the aircraft.
